The student chapter at Oregon State University for the Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematicians (SIAM) was officially established in 2009 in order to provide a forum in which students at OSU can pursue mathematical research focused on applications in science and industry and to provide information on the current job market for mathematicians in industry and facilitate the interaction between students, faculty and SIAM. This webpage is dedicated to sharing online resources for students and providing information concerning upcoming events in the organization.
Go to the SIAM website (https://www.siam.org/membership/join-siam/individual-members) and join as a student with your Oregon State email address. Make sure to select the free student membership. While registering, indicate that you want to be a part of the Oregon State student chapter. Email the president if you have any questions.
