Students for Cultivating Change

Students for Cultivating Change (SCC) exists to build a community for LGBTQ+ folk and allies within the College of Agricultural Sciences. Our community serves as a visible and brave space for members to come together in order to connect, network, and celebrate LGBTQ+ pride within the entire Agricultural community.

SCC is associated with the Cultivating Change Foundation and the Oregon State University Pride Center. Click the buttons below to learn more about those organizations.

The College of Agricultural Science's Club Welcome Event took place on September 21st, 2021. This is the first tabling event that SCC has been able to attend after our creation in Fall 2020. We were able to meet many students, including new-to-campus first and second years as well as returning students, as well as many interested faculty members. It was amazing it see how many people were interested in our club and how many people love the Rainbow Beaver stickers!
