OSU Student Services:

ASOSU Office of Advocacy 

This is a student service run by ASOSU and assists students with issues involving the university or university affiliates, such as financial aid, faculty misconduct, grade or residency appeals and more. 

ASOSU Student Legal Services 

This office provides legal advice and representation to OSU students on a variety of legal matters. 

Basic Needs Center

The Basic Needs Center provides textbook access, laptop and calculator lending and food assistance. Contact the center for peer support to help you identify and apply to resources. They also have a Food Pantry to provide Grocery Support. 

Bias Incident Reporting 

In the University’s ongoing efforts to create a safe and inclusive environment for all students, the Office of Institutional Diversity collaborates with campus partners to respond to incidents of bias. This team takes all reports of bias seriously, and depending on the circumstances may follow up with campus safety, referrals to university resources, or community outreach. 

Career Development Center 

You can meet with a member of the Career Development Center to edit or build your resume, cover letter, CV, and even prepare for an interview!

Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS)

CAPS is committed to improving students’ lives through counseling, resources for managing stress and improving self-esteem, and mindfulness practices- wherever you are. 

Disability Access Services 

DAS facilitates access to university programs and services for students with disabilities through accommodations, education, consultation, and advocacy. 

Hattie Redmond Women & Gender Center  

This resource works to empower women and educate the campus community about women’s issues, resources, and opportunities both locally and globally. 

OSU Program Council 

This is a student-led, student-driven organization which plans and produces meaningful events on campus. 

Pride Center 

The Pride Center seeks to create and provide a safe, non-judgemental and supportive community for students of all sexual orientations and gender identifications to participate.

Survivor Advocacy & Resource Center  

The Survivor Advocacy & Resource Center (SARC) and the Interpersonal Violence Prevention Team have joined together to form the Center for Advocacy, Prevention & Education (CAPE). CAPE will operate through a multi-disciplinary and collaborative approach to provide a continuum of programs and services designed to prevent interpersonal and gender-based violence and to support survivors.
