Hello NDC, my name is TerraAnne and I'm the new President. I'm a second-year, and just got accepted into the dietetics program this last spring!
I have three cats and a dog and love to bake. I'm a double major working toward an undergrad in dietetics and kinesiology. My goal is to become an RDN and have a certificate in exercise physiology. Right now I'm working toward getting my certification to be a personal trainer. I'm excited to work with all of you and make NDC amazing!
Position: Vice President
I am a 3rd-year dietetics student looking forward to bringing a different world view to this club. I'm excited to hear all of your ideas and find ways to implement them. Fun facts: I have a wonderful cat (10 years old) and dog (4 yo) whom I love very much. If you're a commuter student, let me know if you ned any tips; I've been commuting to OSU for 3 years. And finally, I love to bake and have been experimenting with vegan baking more this year- send me all your delicious recipes!!
My name is Melissa Myton, I will be the secretary for NDC. I love being outside whether it's hiking, running, or just reading. With my nutrition knowledge, I hope to work as a community dietitian but I'm excited to continue learning where I can help people in other ways. I love talking about nutrition and learning new things so I'd be happy if anyone wants to talk about food or want to share their knowledge!
Position: Public Relations
Hi everyone! My name is Karen Gutierrez and I am your new Public Relations Officer! I am so excited for this opportunity to be a leader in this club and relish in all the awesome nutrition and non-nutrition fun we get to have with all of you! I am currently a junior in the Dietetic Program and am loving it so far! Other things that I enjoy are cooking, drawing, hiking, camping, cycling (I'll be teaching at Dixon in the fall, come take my class!!), yoga, and traveling...when I can! I can't wait to get to know all of you a little better!
Hello NDC! My name is Katie Clem and I am a junior in the dietetics program and your new treasurer for NDC!
Some background on me is that I started here at OSU four years ago and spent 2 years in the engineering program before switching into the dietetics program. I am also working towards minors in both chemistry and agriculture sciences, and work a part-time job on campus. I am a super active person who loves going to work out classes, swimming, hiking, and snowboarding!
I have experience delivering "Farm-to-School" curriculum in classrooms through the Corvallis Environmental Center, and this past year got the opportunity to attend FNCE 2019 in Philadelphia as a student volunteer.
I really love connecting with new people and sharing my own experiences with others so I look forward to working with you all and to take on the responsibility of treasurer of the NDC! Feel free to reach out to me to ask any questions you may have about the program or my experiences!
Hey NDC! My name is Claire, I just finished my sophomore year, and was accepted into the dietetics program this last spring! I am excited to see where this year takes us and learn how we can navigate new challenges and opportunities together.
I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, backpacking, boating, etc. I also love cooking... especially baking, and I live for the coffee shop vibes.
I have volunteered with a local food co-op start-up in my hometown, Silverton as well as the Linn Benton County Food Share here in Corvallis, and I hope to find more volunteer endeavors for the club in the future! I am so excited about going into this field as I continually learn about the need for nutrition professionals. I am still unsure of what area of dietetics I wish to pursue after I complete my education, but that is why we're all here to figure it out along the way.
