The Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) at Oregon State University is 1 of the 5 the governing councils for fraternity and sorority life on campus. MGC serves multicultural and cultural-based greek-lettered organizations that had included Latinx, Asian interest, and Native American-based chapters.
It is the mission of the Multicultural Greek Council to promote diversity, communication, and cooperation among its member organizations and to advance the ideals of scholarship, service, and unity throughout the greater Oregon State University (OSU) and Corvallis Community.
Our council has a strong connection to social justice principles and you don’t have to identify as a member of a certain cultural group to join one of our chapters, all are welcome and encouraged to explore what our chapters offer.
If you are interested in joining an MGC sorority or fraternity on campus, the best way to get involved would be to attend as many council-sponsored programs as you can to get to know current members.
Each individual MGC organization also hosts various programs and activities on campus that are open to all students. By attending these programs and activities you can introduce yourself to members of the fraternity or sorority that you are interested in
MGC will be hosting an Open House event on Friday, September 22th, 2022 at 5 pm with all of our chapters. Check back for more details and information over the summer! In the meantime, you can RSVP here for MGC's events so you will be the first to hear about any updates or important information!
