SPECIAL EVENT:
Marksmanship Club will be hosting a Fall Family Weekend fundraiser event using our smokeless target range simulator on Sunday November 10th from 10am to 5pm in the McAlexander Fieldhouse classroom (enter on the west RecSports main entrance).
The smokeless range uses gas-blowback airsoft pistols with infrared lasers and range displayed on the projector (no projectiles).
This club fundraiser provides participants with the opportunity to learn firearms safety and try pistol marksmanship the smokeless target range simulator. $5 per person for 5 games, paid in person via cash or card (cash encouraged).

There is a short required training presentation followed by games on the simulator and training/demonstration pistol stations. Stop by to check it out and bring your family!
We will also have new club shirts ($20 each), club stickers ($1) and drinks ($1) for sale at the event while supplies last.

Welcome students to the 2024-2025 academic year! Marksmanship Club is a shooting sports club resulting from the merger of the previous Pistol Club and Rifle Club at OSU.
WHEN: Participation is in two parts, annual mandatory training and range practice. Students must sign up for each range practice in advance. See the event schedule page for full details: Event Schedule
WHERE: Required safety training and orientation (must be completed each academic year) is held on campus. Range practice is hosted at Albany Rifle and Pistol Club (ARPC) in Shedd, OR. The operates a OSU motor pool shuttle van (space limited) on practice days that students may sign up for to get to the off-campus range.
WHAT TO BRING: Your OSU ID card for training and practice. If you plan to self-drive to range practice, either bring with you or enter your personal vehicle information into your profile in Ideal-Logic (you'll need vehicle make/model/year, your insurance policy company/policy number/expiration date). Range practice participants must wear closed toed shoes. The club provides all other equipment! This includes firearms, ammunition (may be purchased), targets and all safety equipment.
WHO: This club is open to all registered students, grad students, and all faculty at the Oregon State University Corvallis campus who have paid a recreational sports fee (part of Dixon membership). No previous firearms experience required; we'll teach you everything that you need to know.
