If your event requires tickets, please look below on how to fill out the E-ticketing form on Ideal-Logic!
In order to access the form to apply for e-ticketing, your club must already have submitted an activity plan.
If the activity plan has been populated, under the LOGISTICS tab, you will click yes for an E-Ticketing Request for the form to pop up. There will be a link titled “E-Ticketing Request Form” that you can click on to start the process.
Once the form is open, you will need to acknowledge that you have read and agree to the welcome instructions.
In the participant tab, please put down details of yourself so that it is understood how to contact you. A phone number is needed so that we may contact you during the event itself, or if further information is needed regarding ticketing.
In the event details tab, you will need to fill in the blanks about your organization and who to best contact about the ticketing form.
You will also need to attach your activity plan to the form.
Then you will need to fill in the blanks with the information about the event such as the name, description of the event, start time, door open time, location, etc.
We highly recommend adding an image/poster for the event to be shown on the website. The image MUST be in a .jpg or .gif format.
Next, put down the maximum amount of tickets you will be selling (usually this means the capacity of your venue)
Then you will click on the add ticket information button to add the ticket types. This can mean adding VIP, OSU Student, General Admission, or Presale tickets. In this area, you will put down the amount of tickets you wish to have available per category, how much they will cost, how many 1 person can get, and when these tickets will be available to reserve. Please note that only 20% of the tickets may be reserved for your club, the rest must be available to the public. If it is a free or SOA funded event, you will only be able to have tickets released the Monday before your event. If it is funded through your own organization, you may release tickets whenever you would like. However, we strongly encourage that you release tickets at most a week before the event as many people often forget about reserving the tickets.
Next, you will need to review that all the information is correct as you cannot edit the form once it has been submitted. Then you can submit when you are ready.
Reminder: you must submit the form at least 2 weeks before the event. A meeting will also be scheduled with the person of contact about the form once the tickets have been made.
