Students can get access to tools and environments that are not available at school. IBC believes that each experience solidifies learning and supports important academic concepts in the world.

The volunteer opportunities help students get connected to the environment around them. Students can work with species, find ways to restore environments, and many more. These volunteers help students get connected to professionals and resources, are good for the body and mind, can potentially help advance careers, and most importantly brings joy and fulfillment in life.

Prairie restoration work with the Nature Conservancy
Heartland Humane Society
Habitat for Humanity
