President: Keira Johnson

I’m a fifth-year PhD student in Water Resources Science. I’m from Beaverton, Oregon, but I did my undergrad at OSU and have lived in Corvallis for the past seven years. In my free time, I enjoy all things outdoors, with a particular love for trail running, biking, and backpacking!

Vice President: Jesse Attias

I’m an MS student in Water Resources Science, focusing on snow and forest hydrology. I’m originally from New York and have been enjoying biking, hiking, birding, surfing, and learning about Oregonian water during my time here!

Treasurer: Wilhem Diehl
I’m a second-year master’s student in Fisheries Science in the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife Conservation Sciences. Originally from Orrington, Maine, I’ve been living in the Pacific Northwest for five years. When I’m not working behind my computer, you’ll probably find me baking, walking my roommate’s dog, or near some body of water—most likely fishing!

Secretary: Kristine Alford

I’m a second-year PhD student in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Sciences. I completed my Bachelor's in Biology and Master’s in Marine Conservation and Resource Management at the University of South Alabama. Currently, I’m studying the Klamath Dam Removal. In my free time, I enjoy teaching yoga and Pilates, reading books from the public library, and swimming in any body of water I can find!

Webmaster: Madison Anzarut

I’m a second-year master’s student in the Water Resource Science program, studying groundwater quality in an Oregon groundwater management area. My journey into water quality began at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, where I discovered my passion for sustainable water management. Originally from mid-Michigan, I decided to explore opportunities and make new connections out west!

Event Coordinator & Committee Chair: Jasmine Krause

I’m a second-year PhD student in Water Resources Science, studying headwater mountain streams that dry seasonally in the Western Cascades of Oregon. Originally from San Diego, I did my undergrad in Santa Cruz. You can find me frolicking in the mountains—whether for fun or fieldwork! I’m excited to help plan the Pacific Northwest Water Symposium, which features speakers tackling complex water-related research in the region.

Event Coordinator & Committee Chair: Bareera Nadeem Mirza

I’m a third-year PhD student in Geography and Geospatial Sciences, specializing in snow science. A fun fact about me is that I recently completed a base camp trek to the ninth-highest mountain in the world, located in my home country of Pakistan.

Event Coordinator, Philanthropy, & Community Service: Luke Hatch

I’m a second-year Water Resources Engineering student at Oregon State University. Originally from Park City, Utah, I’ve called Oregon home for the past few years—there are just too many rivers to leave! I’m passionate about fly fishing, particularly for anadromous species like steelhead, which keeps me connected to the water both in and out of the classroom.

Event Coordinator, Philanthropy, & Community Service: Isabelle Tang

I’m a second-year master’s student in Water Resources Engineering, studying the effects of dam removal on algae and plant ecology in the Klamath River. I work with Mary’s River Watershed Council and other local environmental nonprofits through the Hydrophiles. I’m originally from Boise, Idaho, and did my undergrad at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I’ve been fascinated with rivers and conservation since watching Patagonia’s DamNation film when I was 16.
