The purpose of the Oregon State University Dairy Club is to provide a welcoming, educational atmosphere for OSU and Linn-Benton Community College students who have a dairy interest.  The OSU Dairy Club strives to provide educational activities for dairy youth and the general public, and works to serve the Oregon and national dairy industries.  The club caters to students with a wide variety of dairy related interests, and prepares and develops leaders to enter the working world.

The OSU Dairy Club promotes these principles by sponsoring activities that provide opportunities for students to interact with industry representatives, producers, faculty, other students, and various other personnel involved with the dairy industry.

The OSU Dairy Club was first chartered in the 1960’s and was one of the strongest clubs on campus through the 1970’s.  In the early 1990’s the Dairy Club was re-established and has continually built upon its membership annually.  Currently the Oregon State University Dairy Club has about 35 diverse, active members.  Membership backgrounds range from students with no experience, to students with heavy production and/or processing heritage.  All members involved share a common interest of being actively involved in the dairy industry and learning new skills that help prepare them for their future.
