The BGSA is an organization dedicated to making the Oregon State University (OSU) community aware of and responsive to the needs and concerns of black graduate students. The BGSA serves as a professional and social support body for graduate and undergraduate students. BGSA is particularly concerned with the recruitment and retention of black undergraduates into graduate school.
Adigun McLeod is the current president of BGSA. Adigun is a master's student in horticulture and is excited to help rebuild BGSA with the rest of our officers.
Talenta Pitso is our current Vice President for BGSA. She's currently studying civil engineering and is excited to work with more Black students across campus.
Oumaima Hachimi is our current treasurer for BGSA. Oumaima is studying for her PhD in environmental engineering and is excited to help rebuild BGSA with the rest of our officers.
Janelle Layton is the current secretary for BGSA. Janelle is a master's student studying fisheries science and is excited to work with more Black students across campus to help rebuild BGSA.
