Beaver Community Fair 2020 Organization Guide

Updated Beaver Community Fair Information (as of 9/1/2020)

For the virtual fair, we will be using a program called Remo. Click this link to check out Remo and the basics of how it works. With this being a new program, we will be hosting opportunities for you to test it out and get comfortable in the few days before the event.

Some of the functionality of Remo has required us to make a few adjustments. Any information needed will be collected in the survey sent in the registration confirmation.

  • First, each virtual table can only hold 8 participants (including you), so we ask that each organization limit the number of people at any given time to 2 or fewer. If you want more organization members to be able to interact, please plan to have someone from your group leave the event after a new member takes over.
  • Second, there is a limit to the number of total participants we can have in the event at any given time. Therefore, registered organizations will be split between two timeslots. One session will be from 10:00 am-12:00 pm and the other session will be from 1:00 pm-3:00 pm.
  • Third, there are some features that are not accessible and will not be used at the event. Formal information to follow but we ask that all organizations please respect those guidelines and refrain from using inaccessible features.
  • Last, but not least, we will be providing participants with a document that lists the groups in attendance and where they are located. We would also like to include contact information and/or a website where students can get more information.

Note: if you utilize a website reader, there are additional steps you will need to take in order to access this event.  Those details are being populated and will be included on the event landing page and this website as soon as it is available.
